Peterborough's independent carpet and flooring fitters
Cambridgeshire Carpets is an independent carpet and flooring shop and fitting company based at the Manor Grove Centre on Vicarage Farm Road. We choose the flooring with you in your own home, measure every room ourselves and fit it with our own team — across Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Rutland and the towns between.
Chosen in your home. Measured by us. Fitted by our own team.
A national chain sells you a floor. An independent fits you one. Three things that are different when the people who quote your floor are the people who fit it — with no pushy showroom sales pitch.
You choose at home, not under showroom lights
We bring the samples to you, so you see colours in your own light next to your own furniture — and we measure every room on the same visit.
The same team from quote to finished floor
The person who measured your rooms briefs the fitters who lay your floor — one team and one point of contact from the first visit to the last edge, so nothing is lost in between.
Direct accounts with the manufacturers
We buy Cormar, Westex and Ulster carpets, Karndean, Amtico and Moduleo luxury vinyl and Quick-Step laminate directly from the manufacturer — and that's the price your quote is built on.
Our own fitters, on real jobs across Peterborough.
The photos here are our own fittings, taken on the day — not stock imagery or showroom sets. This is what a Cambridgeshire Carpets job looks like.
We fit carpets, luxury vinyl tiles, sheet vinyl, laminate, engineered and solid wood, stairs, safety flooring and carpet tiles — for homes, landlords, businesses and new builds. Whatever the floor, it's measured by us, supplied by us and fitted by us.

Every floor we fit carries the same commitments, and they're written into your quote — not left to goodwill.
Homes, rentals, offices and new builds across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire — every one measured and fitted by our own team.
Fitting carpets and hard floors in Peterborough homes and businesses.
On the fitting of every floor our team installs. If it lifts, gaps or frays because of the fitting, we put it right.
Cover for your home or premises while we're working in it.
Our fitters are covered on site, so you never carry the risk.
