Step 2 — Choosing and ordering

Some are cut from stock rolls and can be with us in days; others are made to order and take longer, particularly the premium wool ranges and the larger-format LVT collections. - Quickest: stock-roll carpets from ranges such as Cormar, Abingdon and Victoria in popular neutral shades; standard PU or felt underlay; a single room or a hall-stairs-landing job. These can often be measured, ordered and fitted inside a couple of weeks when a slot is available.
- Moderate: made-to-order or wider-width carpets, patterned carpets that need matching, and click-lock LVT or laminate flooring that must acclimatise in the room before it is laid.
